The family of choice for a child needing adoption is one that reflects his or her birth heritage. It is important for children to recognise and value their own ethnicity and, whenever possible, this will mean a placement with a family from a similar religious, racial and cultural background.

Suffolk Adoption Agency makes every effort to identify such matched placements for each child looked after. This is not always easy and we particularly welcome applications from families from diverse backgrounds, religious, racial or cultural.
